Our new 6000 Series vinyl patio door has been thoughtfully designed and manufactured to guarantee no air and water infiltration. Features of the 6000 Series replacement patio door are as follows:
- Mainframe & panel extrusions are made of an extremely durable solid uiPVC virgin vinyl with metal reinforced panels (figure 3) and solid white pine wood mainframe substructure (figure 1) for added strength.
- Extra deep weather-stripped integral interlocks at the meeting stiles (figure 2) and double weather-stripping and vinyl bulb seal (figure 3) provide protection against air infiltration.
- Unlike most patio doors which utilize plastic or vinyl rolling systems our 6000 Series incorporates two sets of solid steel, zinc plated tandem rollers (figure 5) which act like a car suspension to keep the gliding action extremely smooth.
- Standard each door comes with two panes (figure 6) of energy saving thermally insulated Low-e & argon gas Extreme Glass (400% stronger than regular glass) with the PPG Warm Edge Technology spacer system.
- Dual durometer glazing system absorbs shock and offers extra weather protection.
- Heavy-duty fiberglass screen with aluminum frames featuring an adjustable, independent wheel system in all four corners and a controlled spring tension system for smooth sliding without derailment.
